The 2011 Annual Conference features captive insurance and alternative risk transfer leaders who will address current issues and hot topics facing the industry today and offer their perspective on the industry's future. On Oct. 25 at 1:30 p.m., Libby Baney of B&D Consulting will co-lead a session on the Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act. She will examine facets of the act with the greatest likely impact on the insurance industry, including the new Federal Insurance Office (FIO), the Financial Stability Oversight Council, the Non-admitted and Reinsurance Reform Act, and Dodd-Frank-mandated reports due to Congress from the FIO and the Government Accountability Office.
