(29-September-2014) - FaegreBD Consulting is pleased to announce that Michelle McMurry-Heath, who recently stepped down as Associate Director for Science at the FDA Center for Devices and Radiological Health, has joined the firm as senior director for regulatory strategy in health and biosciences.Prior to the FDA, Dr. McMurry-Heath was founding director of the Health, Biomedical Science and Society Initiative at the Aspen Institute. She has been a MacArthur Fellow at the Council on Foreign Relations and a Robert Wood Johnson Foundation Health and Society Scholar focused on biomedical innovation. Dr. McMurry-Heath previously served as Sen. Joseph Lieberman's (D-CT) senior health policy legislative assistant from 2001-04 and served on President Obama's transition team for the National Science Foundation."Michelle is a recognized leader in spurring health technology through regulatory innovation, patient engagement and public-private partnerships," said FaegreBD Consulting Chair Dave Zook.
