B&D; Consulting's Phillip Singerman, Ph.D., will moderate a session entitled, "Sustainability: On the Cutting Edge — Climate Prosperity Strategies" at the IEDC's upcoming 8th Annual Conference.

This session will enable economic developers to discover how aggressively working to combat climate change and enhancing sustainability can boost their economy by increasing money in consumers' pockets, reducing business costs, and fostering entrepreneurial opportunities in emerging and growing industries such as alternative energy, green buildings, agriculture, advanced manufacturing, recycling and nanotechnology. During this session, Dr. Singerman will also share insights based on his experience serving as U.S. Assistant Secretary of Commerce for Economic Development from 1995 - 1999.
