B&D; Consulting's Bob Kabel named to Presidential Advisory Council on HIV/AIDS

On July 27, 2006, B&D Consulting's Senior Advisor Bob Kabel, along with six other new members, was named to the Presidential Advisory Council on HIV/AIDS. The Presidential Council on HIV/AIDS provides recommendations regarding programs and policies intended to anticipate and respond to the world's HIV/AIDS epidemic to President George W. Bush and Health & Human Services Secretary Mike Leavitt.

Bob is a Senior Advisor to B&D Consulting who represents financial industry clients before Congress, Executive Branch departments and agencies, independent agencies and various White House offices. He is the Chairman of the Washington, DC, Republican Committee and a trustee of the Whitman-Walker Clinic. Bob is the founder and editor of theKabel Intelligence Letter, a weekly newsletter that provides strategic insight and analysis, as well as insider political, legislative, and regulatory forecasting from the U.S. to the business community in Brazil.

The PACHA, established in 1995, had its charter renewed in 2001 by President Bush. Council members serve terms of up to four years and are selected for their expertise in HIV/AIDS and their diverse personal and professional backgrounds.
