B&D; Consulting's Henry Johnson to Address GAO Education Advisory Panel

WASHINGTON, D.C. — Dr. Henry L. Johnson, Senior Advisor of B&D; Consulting, has been invited to serve as a panelist at the Government Accounting Office (GAO) K-12 Education Advisory Panel on April 28 in Washington, D.C. Dr. Johnson has been asked to discuss identifying opportunities to inform Congress about educational issues and progress toward key federal education objectives.

Panel discussions will explore the strengths and weaknesses in K-12 education, and what is and is not working in K-12 education. Panelists will react to presentations given by majority and minority staff from the Senate Committee on Health, Education, Labor and Pensions, as well as the House Committee on Education and Labor, to give their thoughts on opportunities and challenges to improving K-12 education.
