Health Care Financing Expert Joins B&D; Consulting

WASHINGTON – Charles "Chuck" Birdsell, an expert on health care financing and analysis with more than 20 years of experience, has joined B&D Consulting as a vice president on the firm's health & life sciences practice team.

Birdsell most recently held senior contract management and financial analysis positions at MedStar Health, which operates a number of major nonprofit hospitals, including Washington Hospital Center, Georgetown University Hospital and National Rehabilitation Hospital. Prior to MedStar Health, Birdsell held strategic planning and financial analysis positions at Inova Health System.

Birdsell will focus on data analysis, financial modeling, coverage policy and clinical trial reimbursement.
