Senior Staffer for Energy & Commerce Member Bolsters Health Practice

WASHINGTON – Jennifer Nieto Carey, who most recently handled Energy & Commerce Committee Member Anna Eshoo's health and life sciences portfolio, has joined B&D Consulting as an Assistant Vice President.

Carey will concentrate her practice in the areas of legislative strategy and analysis. She has extensive knowledge of legislative policy and process as it relates to health care and brings that expertise to her client work.

Carey joins us B&D Consulting from the office of U.S. Congresswoman Anna G. Eshoo (CA-14). Carey served as legislative assistant to Rep. Eshoo, a senior member of the Energy and Commerce Committee. She was responsible for advising the Congresswoman on all policy issues under the jurisdiction of the Health Subcommittee and helped manage the Congressional Medical Technology and 21st Century Health Care Caucuses.

Carey graduated from the University of California, Davis where she received her bachelor's degree in political science in 2001.
