Two New Hires Add Another Boost to B&D;'s National Health & Life Sciences Practice
WASHINGTON – Experts in the field of reimbursement consulting and health care records management and compliance are the two most recent additions to B&D Consulting's national health and life sciences practice.
Kay Moyer and Lourdes Kirby have joined the firm as assistant vice presidents. Moyer, who comes to the firm from the American College of Radiology (ACR), advises medical device and pharmaceutical clients on coding and reimbursement issues. Kirby assists health care providers throughout the country in complying with federal and state health care regulations, as well as providing strategic counsel and guidance to providers who may be under investigation or review.

Kirby has more than 20 years of expertise in the highly specialized field of health information management, with a particular focus on compliance and HIPAA issues. Before joining B&D Consulting, she held a number of senior compliance and records management positions.
In addition to her work as an economic and health policy analyst at the ACR, Moyer has worked as a business manager in private provider practice.
