Alex Beehler will speak at an event hosted by the Environmental Law Institute on November 30, 2012, in Washington, D.C. The event, "Scrutinizing and Supporting Green Business," will review voluntary green business practices, assessing whether corporate green initiatives are designed to benefit the environment or if they are more interested in "green washing" their corporate reputation. The discussion will identify ways that public policy can promote green business and review proposed regulatory strategies, as well as policies that have yet to be considered. The seminar will offer ideas on how policymakers can best move forward in this important area.
