The Honorable Mary Bono

Mary Bono Mack of FaegreBD Consulting will speak at the 12th Annual Association of Recovery Schools Conference on July 11-13, 2013. The conference is focused on helping educators, therapists, guidance counselors, social workers, juvenile justice workers, psychiatrists, nurses and physicians expand knowledge of adolescent treatment.

Mary will moderate the event's opening general session on July 11, from 10:30-11:30 a.m., which will highlight three different family/youth vignettes. She will also present on "Advocacy 101" from 1-1:45 p.m. on July 11. This session will provide relevant strategies, trends and data for youth in recovery within the health care system and insight into advocacy models and best practices across the continuum of recovery care.

In addition, the conference will feature prominent national speakers in the field of addiction and recovery, including officials from the Office of National Drug Control Policy and leaders of Haight Ashbury Free Clinics and the Treatment Research Institute.
