Join Research!America and Debra Lappin of FaegreBD Consulting for a workshop enabling early career scientists to effectively communicate the importance of biomedical research to the media and policymakers. Attendees will have Q&A opportunities with science, health and health policy reporters, current and former congressional staffers and top Elsevier editors, in addition to attending a plenary session and meetings on Capitol Hill.

The plenary session speaker is Christie Nicholson, lecturer at the Alan Alda Center for Communicating Science at Stony Brook University.

Moderators for the workshop are Frank Sesno, director of the School of Media and Public Affairs at The George Washington University, and Debra Lappin, JD, principal, FaegreBD Consulting and Research!America Board member.
