Nick Manetto, principal on FaegreBD Consulting’s health and biosciences team, was a guest on The Bio Report, a podcast hosted by veteran journalist Daniel Levine, to discuss the 21st Century Cures Initiative. The 400-page draft, released by the House Energy and Commerce Committee’s Subcommittee on Health in January 2015, addresses issues in the drug and device development and review process. Manetto discussed the legislation, the points of controversy it brings, and the likelihood of its passing on the 20-minute program.
