Samantha Strong Brings Bioethics Background to FaegreBD Consulting

Washington, D.C. (31-May-2016) - Samantha N. Strong has joined FaegreBD Consulting as an advisor with the health and biosciences team in Washington, D.C.

Strong brings a strong focus on government advocacy. Grounded in pragmatic choices and political implications, she combines knowledge and understanding of the health care sector — including the intricacies of public and private insurance and pharmaceutical policy and regulation — with proven communication skills.

At Indiana University, Strong crafted an individualized degree in bioethics with a concentration in health policy. With graduate-level courses, she dedicated her education to the study and understanding of the health care sector and its complexities. Strong’s study included self-led quantitative analysis of the pharmaceutical industry and its impact on health care accessibility, as well as in-depth review of global and domestic impacts of public health research guidelines and practices, specifically on the state of ethics research committees in Kenya.

In addition to a bachelor’s degree in bioethics at Indiana University, Strong — a Herman B Wells Scholar — earned a certificate in political and civic engagement. She is a member of the American Society for Bioethics and Humanities.
