Baker & Daniels and B&D; Consulting invite you to join us for the sixth webinar in our 2010-2011 series focusing on clean energy and climate change and developed by the American Council on Renewable Energy (ACORE) and the American Bar Association.
Join us for a lively discussion concerning the nation's ability and methods to pay for renewable energy through increased electricity rates. Using California as a case study, the panel (via webinar) will lay out cost forecasts for compliance with California's aggressive RPS standard. Having grounded the conversation in dollar figures, we will then discuss various policies to achieve the RPS goals. The panel will also discuss how regulators balance the RPS and consumers' ability to pay higher rates.
Terry Hall, Baker & Daniels' clean energy and carbon markets practice group leader, will provide brief federal and state updates prior to the webinar (updates start promptly at 11:40 a.m. and the webinar begins at noon). A light lunch is provided and networking and discussion follow the webinar.
Baker & Daniels LLP and B&D; Consulting are sponsors of this national series. This event is presented free of charge, however, you must register in advance to receive the login instructions for attending remotely. Login instructions will be e-mailed to you prior to the webinar. Registration for onsite attendance is encouraged to allow us to plan for lunch.
