Clinical Researcher Matthew Rubin Joins Health & Biosciences Team

Washington, D.C. (01-October-2015) - Matthew J. Rubin, who has an extensive background in clinical research and degree in biologic sciences, has joined FaegreBD Consulting as an advisor on the firm’s health and biosciences team in Washington, D.C. He will work with clients and coalitions to advance the understanding and implementation of public policy and health care.

Before joining FaegreBD Consulting, Rubin was an associate clinical researcher and study project coordinator with Indivumed Inc. at the Lombardi Comprehensive Cancer Center at MedStar Georgetown University Hospital and at MedStar Washington Hospital Center. His research geared toward the creation of an oncologic tissue biorepository and clinical database used in drug development, biomarker discover and validation, and novel therapeutic research. As Indivumed Inc. began to expand its U.S. footprint, Rubin was responsible for helping to create a scalable model for which to initiate new research protocol at various clinical sites.

At the University of Maryland, Rubin earned a bachelor’s degree in biological sciences with specialization in neurobiology and physiology in 2013.
