News of data breaches have become commonplace as our society and economy increasingly move towards technology to help citizens and companies manage accounts and organize and store information.

FaegreBDC senior director Kathleen Rice, who was former counsel for the U.S. Senate Intelligence Committee, along with Mary Bono and Andy Ehrlich, authored an article for Ethanol Producer Magazine on the topic of cyber security in the energy sector. Rice said that while technology can help propel a business to increased productivity, a solid action plan should be at the ready in the event of a data breach.
